Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Creating detailed production plans, setting timelines, assigning tasks to staff, and adjusting schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
Resource Management:
- Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials, managing equipment maintenance, and allocating labor resources effectively.
Quality Control:
- Implementing quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet required standards and identifying issues for corrective action.
Cost Management:
- Monitoring production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction, and staying within budget constraints.
Staff Supervision:
- Leading and motivating production teams, providing training, performance evaluations, and addressing employee concerns.
