Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in baseline scheduling using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6.
- Must identify and report the impact of performed or delayed work to all necessary stakeholders.
- Evaluate production progress and recognize possible risks to schedules or budgets.
- Gather key project information, including lead times, labor constraints, progress updates, delays, etc. from multiple sources, both internal and external.
- Communicate regularly with field leadership and sub-contractors to determine project status and any projected adjustments/delays.
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by management.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3yrs of commercial construction experience.
- Must have experience with scheduling and monitoring Gantt charts, P6 experience highly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external partners.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to coordinate several scopes of work simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with water/waste-water treatment facilities is highly preferred, but not required.
- Bachelors in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field is preferred.
