Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Dondlinger Construction is searching for an Inventory Specialist that is organized, meticulous and a proactive self-starter. This role is responsible for inventory control, keeping accurate records within an ERP system, and auditing asset reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records of all company assets, including heavy equipment, vehicles, power tools, and materials.
- Input and track inventory data using the company’s ERP system (Viewpoint).
- Coordinate with Fleet Manager, field supervisors, and mechanics to ensure proper tracking of company assets.
- Conduct regular physical audits of inventory and reconcile/report any discrepancies.
- Prepare inventory reports for leadership on a regular basis.
- Support maintenance tracking and scheduling for equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Shop Foreman.
Necessary Skills:
- Previous experience in inventory control or fleet management is preferred (experience in the construction or industrial sector is a plus).
- Must have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and able to stay on task.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) – ability to communicate with a diverse team is a plus.
