Donegal Services is a dynamic and rapidly growing company focused on delivering top-quality services. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our fleet to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Job Description:

As the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the company’s fleet of vehicles, semi-trucks and heavy equipment. Your role is to manage the procurement, operations, and maintenance of all fleet assets, ensuring that safety, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency are met. You will work closely with various departments to optimize the performance of the fleet and maintain reliable service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and manage fleet maintenance schedules, including regular servicing and

repairs

 Monitor fleet utilization and analyze performance to improve cost efficiency and

productivity.

 Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with local, state, and federal regulations

 Negotiate contracts with vendors for vehicle and equipment purchases

 Manage budget, track expenses, approve repairs

 Conduct regular inspections

 Maintain detail records of fleet registration, insurance, licensing and servicing

 Lead safety initiatives and oversee safety performance in person and on routes,

including safety training, supporting investigation of accidents, and providing on-the-job

coaching.

 Ensure fleet operational processes align with company goals and sustainability

initiatives.

Qualifications:

 Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role withing transportation or logistics

industry

 Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and transportation regulations

 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail

 Strong communication and problem-solving skills

 Ability to manage budgets, and negotiate with vendors effectively

 Having a valid CDL is a plus
