Data Engineer

We are looking to add a data engineer to our data and analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop and grow your data and analytical skills in a dynamic environment where data is routinely used to produce business results for a diverse set of clients.

The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience with a range of data integration, data hygiene, and data architecture tools and platforms, and will bring to the table:

• A solid understanding of relational database design, data transfer and data loading, and data mart/data warehouse models.

Experience with:

• Data quality/data hygiene applications to develop data flows and data hygiene processes.
• Experience with Alteryx and Alteryx Server a plus.
• Writing/executing SQL queries and SQL scripts.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Process documentation experience
• Familiarity with REST APIs or other API types is a plus
• Familiarity with Python or similar language(s) for basic automation purposes is a plus
• Familiarity with documentation and version control services (e.g. Github) is a plus

In addition, we are looking for highly motivated candidates with:

• Ability to manage, execute, and coordinate weekly operational tasks
• Ability to take on new tasks and recommend, design, and develop specific solutions
• Ability to provide clear and constructive communication to other team members, data analysts, and project/account managers
• Ability to document project requirements and write use cases or functional specifications
• Ability to work independently and responsibly “own” projects
• A desire and willingness to learn and advance your current skill set
