Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and respecting their rights
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction and emotional well-being
- Provide physical assistance including lifting and transferring residents when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the residents
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or patient care, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in working with people with autism or developmental disabilities
Hoyer Lift
- Proficiency in meal preparation and housekeeping tasks
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards residents' needs
