Required skills and qualifications
- 5 years of programming experience using the following Rockwell Automation products:
- ControlLogix • CompactLogix • MicroLogix • RS Logix 5000
- Demonstrated experience with AC/DC motors and drives specifically PowerFlex 700 series drives
- Ability to develop the PLC logic and HMI screens for an integrated HMI/PLC system
- Siemens experience a plus
- Ability to create/modify drawings with 2D CAD (AutoCAD)
- Read, create and maintain single line diagrams and electrical control schematics
- 5 years experience in Maintenance and Manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Strong organizational / time management skills, with a high degree of self-motivation & ability to work independently
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated experience in the application of advanced P&ID control schemes / methodologies
- AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. BS in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology a plus

Areas of responsibility
- Define, scope, schedule, develop, and coordinate electrical and control systems projects of varying sizes and importance from conception through completion
- Manage Project budgets and schedule to ensure cost and deadlines are met
- Support all electrical projects
- Responsible for project costing of electrical systems
- Support electricians and E&I’s in trouble shooting of plant electrical systems
- Maintain facility electrical systems
- Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications
- Mitigate obsolescence equipment electrical controls
- Implement error proofing solutions that are integrated into the manufacturing process control system
- Participate in new equipment design and build reviews to ensure that the electrical control systems meet company's specifications
- Support electrical testing equipment including high voltage (>100KV) withstand, resistance, and capacitance testing
- Adhere to all company's Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
- Follow and abides by company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards
Salary : $80,000 - $103,500
