SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT - POSITION
Location : Bergen County, NJ
A well-respected public accounting firm, serving prestigious clients with heavy real estate investment portfolios, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant . The firm specializes in privately owned billion-dollar clients and is in a growth phase, with exciting acquisitions on the horizon. Compensation : $150K - $220K base, plus major incentives.
Minimum Qualifications (Preferred) :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax preparation, accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping services
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, with EA or CPA required
- Proficient with Accounting CS, UltraTax CS, and Fixed Assets CS
- Experience working directly with clients, explaining accounting and tax matters clearly
- Strong knowledge of sales and payroll tax laws, payroll practices, and regulations
