Responsibilities of the Territory Account Manager
- Develop new business opportunities within a defined territory across all product segments.
- Build relationships with current and prospective customers through regular communication.
- Manage all sales activities and report progress through CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with inside support teams to ensure seamless customer service.
- Conduct outbound telemarketing and cold calls to initiate sales conversations.
- Present and demonstrate products/services tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to drive innovation.
Requirements for the Territory Account Manager
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent related experience in B2B sales.
- Competitive, positive attitude with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to self-initiate tasks, handle rejection, and persist in sales efforts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to maximize productivity.
- Valid driver’s license; flexibility to travel within the assigned territory.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: In-person meetings and prospecting required daily in the Indianapolis market and surrounding areas.
- Compensation: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.
