Position Overview: As a Territory Manager, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers while identifying new business opportunities. You will primarily work in the field, reporting to our office in Harrisburg, IL. Your role will include managing a current book of business, conducting regular account reviews, and ensuring customers are satisfied with their current solutions. Additionally, you will proactively seek out new business opportunities through telemarketing, cold calling, and networking. You will also coordinate with internal teams to schedule deliveries and installations for the new equipment and supplies you sell.
Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation plan with a realistic first-year target income of $45,000 - $75,000 at plan. Compensation is a combination of salary, commission, and bonuses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Schedule regular account reviews to assess satisfaction and uncover any changes in their business needs.
- Account Management: Proactively manage a book of business, ensuring customers are aware of the latest technology solutions and that their current setup is meeting their needs.
- Appointment Setting: Utilize strong appointment-setting skills to secure meetings with both current customers and potential new clients.
- Telemarketing & Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to new prospects through telemarketing and cold calling to generate new business opportunities and expand your customer base.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through a combination of networking, social media, and other outreach strategies.
- Sales Growth: Achieve assigned sales quotas and profitability targets by promoting our full suite of business technology solutions, including Hardware, IT, Managed Print Services, and Software Solutions.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to schedule the delivery and installation of new equipment and supplies, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings by providing exceptional service and support.
- Training & Development: Complete required training and professional development objectives within the assigned timeframe.
Qualifications:
- Education: College degree or equivalent work experience in Sales.
- Appointment Setting Skills: Previous experience in appointment setting and building a new book of business through cold calling and telemarketing is highly preferred.
- Attitude: Competitive, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Additional education in business technology is advantageous. A history of success in school, work, community involvement, or athletics is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- License: Must have a valid driver's license.
