Overview
Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Washington. CBS is a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. - Washington's oldest real estate company. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including PM of air-handlers, cooling towers, heat pumps, etc. Knowledge of plumbing fixtures and systems, make adjustment to doors, change lights and ballast, minor electrical repairs. Work will be performed to boilers, pumps, chillers, refrigeration systems, and laboratory equipment. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Major Duties:
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
- Maintain equipment to industry standards
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by supervisor
- Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required
- Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary for this position based on experience and license $33 - $36
Qualifications
- 5 years maintenance experience
- CFC Certificate or to obtain within 6 months
- Pass background check
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift sixty (50) pounds
- Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
- Possess interactive personal skills
