EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
Position Summary :
Oversee and manage the comprehensive daily operations of the hotel's housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. This includes supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the property, and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet our exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions :
- Maintain all hotel standards while staying within agreed budgets for guest and cleaning supplies, salaries, and departmental costs.
- Collaborate with relevant department heads and managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the housekeeping department.
- Monitor the condition and maintenance of all accommodation and public areas.
- Order and purchase all related cleaning chemicals and materials.
- Manage stock levels, stock taking, and control of linen room and uniform departments.
- Hire, train, and motivate department personnel. Conduct performance appraisals.
- Inspect guest rooms after cleaning.
- Train staff in the appropriate use of supplies, cleaning agents, and equipment.
- Conduct linen inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guests' special needs.
- Administer the guest lost and found program.
- Assist the General Manager in resolving guest complaints concerning the Housekeeping Department.
- Communicate room status changes to the Front Desk.
