Hepatology/GI Position in Houston

Join a highly esteemed private practice specializing in Liver Disease, with over 30 years of excellence in Houston, as we seek a skilled Hepatologist to collaborate with our experienced team of (2) GI-Hepatology physicians and (6) GI Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers. This role offers the flexibility of a 100% Hepatology focus or a blend of general GI and Hepatology, and is affiliated with a nationally recognized 982-bed teaching hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients with liver diseases.
• Collaborate with fellow physicians and APPs to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes.
• Engage in the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
• Participate in patient education and community outreach initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of liver diseases and Hepatology.
• Proficiency in gastroenterological clinical practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Hepatology or Gastroenterology.
• Active medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience in managing patients with liver diseases.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
