Manager, Public Relations/Creative Services
DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Manager, Public Relations/Creative Services. The Manager, Public Relations/Creative Services serves with the Public Education/Public Relations team and partners with departments throughout the organization to create visual resources that reflect DonorConnect's mission and impact, align with our branding, and enable our teams to share information about our people and programs in a clear, concise, and compelling way. This role works closely with team members to create branded DonorConnect materials, edit videos, execute social media activities, build relationships with internal partners and external vendors. Keep projects organized and on track and help develop and maintain brand consistency within the organization. The Manager, Public Relations/Creative Services is able to develop assets, and also manage the production process to expand our reach and elevate the DonorConnect, YesUtah, and YesIdaho brand to staff, volunteers, community members, and other stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training/Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or social media required, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Bilingual preferred
- Knowledge of video and multimedia production preferred
- Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential preferred
Experience Required:
- Five or more years of experience in graphic design, video editing, and production
- Promotion of a business or cause on social media with a verifiable pattern of growth with an online presence
- Researching and writing interesting blogs/posts
- Experience in working with volunteers
- Experience in a newsroom setting with "story packaging" skills desirable
- Supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience developing relationships with the media and pitching compelling stories to foster public awareness for a mission-driven organization
- Familiar with all types of social media and their various uses
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and generation of inbound traffic
- Ability to understand organization KPIs, and influence social media campaign outcomes
- Strong planning and analytical capabilities
- Creative thinking and strong collaborator
- Effective communicator with elevated project management skills
- Superior written and oral communications skills
- Solid interpersonal capabilities, ability to get along well with others
- Ability to guide, direct, and motivate volunteers and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to develop relationships of trust in meeting production needs of internal clients
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
