Organ Utilization Coordinator
DonorConnect is looking for a full-time Organ Utilization Coordinator to support our organ transplant and research efforts. The Organ Utilization Coordinator (OUC) is primarily responsible for the allocation of organs for transplant and research as well as the coordination of organ recovery and delivery arrangements. You will coordinate renal, pancreas, and research organ allocations according to established policies. Additionally, the OUC will act as the primary coordinator for all case-related communication and reporting to the renal and pancreas transplant programs. You will work with the Surgical Services Department to coordinate logistical aspects of renal machine perfusion and assist with delivery arrangements for donor specimens, research tissue, and organs. The OUC will play a vital role in the coordination of DonorConnect's GPS tracking program. You will inform transplant centers of GPS trackers attached to accepted organs, monitor the tracking of each organ, and assist with the return of each GPS tracker. Finally, you will support the Organ Utilization Manager in developing and implementing research protocols, assist with data gathering, and support quality assurance activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training / Education / Certification :
- Bachelor's degree preferred, and / or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, Paramedic / EMT, or have prior experience working as a clinical coordinator at an OPO
- CPTC, CCTC, or CCTN certification preferred
