Production Manager Responsibilities and Key Deliverables/Results:

• Management and Development of the Team: Ensure that personnel in specified departments are held accountable to achieving Company quality and delivery goals within the quality management system. Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure success in meeting customer specifications. Manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned personnel. Develop or revise standard operational and work practices and train workers to ensure compliance with established standards. Complete and deliver performance evaluations for all direct reports, including plan for continued growth within the Company.
• Day to Day: Provide feedback from the production environment to plan for upcoming product builds or address and resolve issues with existing builds. Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues to ensure minimum cost and prevention of operational delays. Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in support of Operations and overall company goals. Actively participate in cross-functional teams.
• Process Oversight: Plan production operations within specified departments, establishing priorities and sequence for manufacturing products in support of overall Company goals. Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all applicable equipment in area(s) managed to minimize equipment downtime.

Must Haves for the Production Manager role – Only Apply If You Have the Following:

• Leadership & Manufacturing Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a leader in manufacturing preferably with industry relevant experience (e.g., display applications, electrical, optical, mechanical, industrial, or quality manufacturing). Ideal experience includes EMI shielding, thin film coating, optical components, or electronic displays (e.g., LCDs).
• Technical Education/Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Technical Skills: Experience with lean thinking and flow of materials knowledge, along with statistical analysis of manufacturing data is preferred.
• Proven Track Record: Consistent record of effectively managing multiple priorities while interacting with a diverse workforce across multiple departments daily.
• Citizenship Requirements: Must be in compliance with ITAR (US Citizen, US National, lawful US Permanent Resident, or lawful refugee or asylee of the US.)
