Grill Cook

Donut Crazy in Shelton, CT is looking for one breakfast grill cook to join our strong team. We are located on 785 River Road. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. This position would be anywhere from 25-30 hours a week. Weekends are a MUST. Must be able to work the following shifts:

Friday-8am-3:30pm

Saturday/Sunday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate processing of food in your station.
• Regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and utensils used.
• Maintain health and safety standards to regulations.
• Coordinate with other team members to complete orders timely and accurately.
• Proven work experience as a grill/line cook.
• Work with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of equipment used.
• One year of grill cook experience is a must.
• Ability to communicate and listen effectively.
• Food handling certifications that apply.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Breakfast grill cook experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.

*Wage is dependent upon experience.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.50 - $18.00/hour.
