Doodles Academy is a national arts non-profit dedicated to ensuring all kids, regardless of their background, have access to high-quality arts curricula. We do this by providing a powerful art curriculum, either at low cost or for free, to schools and communities that may otherwise not be able to afford it. We also design our lessons for educators of all backgrounds, even those who are not formally trained art teachers.
Our 'home-base' is in Ann Arbor, where we develop and test curricula in workshops and classes.
We are looking for a new Science and Math Content Expert t o help develop extensions for an art curriculum that integrates science and math concepts. The ideal candidate is a local teacher with strong science and math background that is comfortable with both art and STEM (though support will be provided). Ideally, they’ll bring ideas for small, one-day projects that connect art lessons to science and math.
This position will have occasional and part-time hours on a contract basis (perfect for a teacher looking for a few extra hours).
