We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to join our team and help us grow our business.
Job Overview:
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of Doody Daddy, focusing on driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing the team. This role involves a mix of leadership, sales, and operational responsibilities, including networking with property managers and business developers, managing inventory, overseeing truck maintenance, and ensuring smooth service delivery. The General Manager will also play a key role in team development and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Sales Outreach & Networking: Actively pursue new business opportunities through outreach to property management companies, apartment complexes, neighborhood developers, and other commercial clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy & Growth: Create and implement strategies to drive sales growth in both residential and commercial markets.
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns to promote services to new and existing clients.
Team Leadership & Employee Development:
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of service technicians, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
- Employee Performance: Create and implement employee performance and development plans, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and ensure employee growth.
- Scheduling & Coverage: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that scheduling is efficient and that all jobs are completed on time with high quality.
- Conflict Resolution: Address any issues related to employee performance or conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
Operational Management:
- Inventory Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for daily operations, ensuring that inventory is always stocked and well-organized.
- Truck Maintenance: Oversee truck fleet maintenance, ensuring that all vehicles are regularly serviced and in good working condition.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of service delivery, ensuring that all waste removal is done to the highest standards, and resolve any client complaints or service issues promptly.
Administrative Duties:
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting and financial planning, ensuring the company remains profitable and efficient.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales, client retention, service delivery, and employee productivity.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the company complies with all local and state regulations and maintains a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in management, sales, or operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of driving sales and business development, preferably in service industries.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building skills with experience managing teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and employees.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges in a calm and efficient manner.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic business software (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems, etc.) and learning new tools as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
