- The primary responsibility is to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers and clients
- The Co-Operations Manager provides overall management and team direction for the DoodyCalls, Morris County, NJ Franchise
- Organizes develops, manages, and assigns routes to team members. Provides back-up to Pet Waste Technicians as required to meet client needs and ensure assigned routes are completed
- Resolves waste issues with communities and other involved parties
- Meets with new customers to develop relationships, gain approval for service and/or installation, and provide advice (as needed basis)
- Responsible for administrative operations of the Morris County Office. Monitors supplies, orders, and receivable as required. Ensures purchases are received. Manages information systems hardware and software needs. Follows and revises operations policies and guidelines
- Responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Responsible for field work assignments including yard sign installations for new clients. Works with new commercial (Associations, Condos) and residential clients to establish and set up appropriate services to meet needs. Equipment installation and repairs
- Provides leadership and direction for the team. Conducts spot checks to determine performance and service level provided by the team and members in review with the Office Manager and Franchise Owner
- Provides performance feedback and training. Develops and assigns team member routes. Ensures all employees meet or exceed performance expectations
- Delegates all aspects of fleet scheduling and maintenance. Schedules vehicles for routine maintenance and repair
- Completes other tasks and assignments as required or determined
- Pet Waste Removal Technicians - 8 or more
- Entry-to-mid-level management corporate franchise operations positions, as developed
- Team members, homeowner associations, property managers, service providers, suppliers, executives, delivery persons, regulatory agencies (NJ), commercial and retail clients and potential clients, media
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma and three years of relevant experience or BS degree
- Experience in an operations-based position that includes personnel supervision, payroll processing, work assignments, employee relations and issues, and strong customer service knowledge and abilities desired
- Experience in retail, distribution or legal-related business desired
- Knowledge of business operations and functionality desired
- Experience in personnel training and development desired
- Strong customer service skill set
- Sound computer skills
- Intermediate knowledge and skill of Internet and Windows-based software applications such as Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel) essential
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and applications in the business environment
- Excellent ability to focus attention
- Pesticide Applicator NJ ( not required, preferred)
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and team
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

- Environmental conditions: frequent exposure to pet waste, geese and dogs, and weather
- Work is completed in an office environment as well as outdoors when working in the field (providing training, performing spot checks, inspecting properties, orchestrating moves, etc.)
- Quiet conditions; noise level is average
- Job requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, with occasional to 80lb. Very frequent standing and walking for extended periods of time
- The incumbent is regularly required to talk and hear
- Daily use of keyboard, mouse and computer screen to complete tasks
- Requires daily operation of a variety of office machines and equipment: phone, printer, computer, keyboard, scoop, rake, shovel, shredder, tools, GPS units, Smart phone
- Vision requirements: Unimpaired close and distance vision with strong ability to focus. Full ability to discern shapes and colors
- Ability to work as needed Monday - Friday ( Occasional weekends)
- Ability to drive (company vehicle); Driver's license required
