Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. Main activities would entail delivery of packaged oil and other goods as well as running fuel deliveries as needed. Job activities also may include assisting with light duty cleanup and miscellaneous duties as needed. Requirements to run fuel deliveries would be a class B license with a hazardous materials endorsement. To achieve the class B license with the Hazmat endorsement training can be provided during the first several months of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including tanker trucks, flatbed trucks
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements
- Ability to load and unload items safely and efficiently
