E-Commerce Lister

Door of Hope has been serving the local community for more than 25 years. We are one of Loudoun County's best kept secrets, offering quality housewares and apparel at affordable prices. Our e-commerce center in Berryville, VA has an immediate opening for a listing associate.

Candidate should be comfortable in a warehouse setting and capable of lifting/moving up to 50 pounds at a time. Daily tasks include photographing and listing items of significant value, packing and order fullfilment as well as customer support for our e-commerce sales channels.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our online sales platforms, optimizing product listings, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience. You will play a crucial role in driving sales through effective communication and strategic upselling techniques.

Duties

• Oversee the daily operations of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring all stock levels are accurately maintained.
• Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and inventory levels, making informed decisions to maximize profitability.
• Implement upselling strategies to enhance customer transactions and increase average order value.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email, providing exceptional service and support.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that drive traffic to e-commerce sites.
• Supervise stock management processes, including inventory audits and replenishment strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce.

Experience

• Proven experience in an e-commerce or retail environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to support inventory management and sales analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency with "desktop" web browsers, typing, data entry.
• Basic math skills for pricing and batching products correctly
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
