Warehouse Team Member Job Summary
This role involves working in a dynamic warehouse environment where you'll be responsible for various tasks, including inventory management, pick, pack, and sort orders, and delighting customers. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate receipt and stocking of inventory, safeguarding against loss or theft.
- Pick, Pack, and Sort Orders: Utilize technology to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers.
- Delight Customers: Communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers through the app when substitution approvals are needed.
- Warehouse Organization and Safety: Perform all duties in compliance with DoorDash safety and security standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Candidates must possess strong communication skills, be willing to learn, and be problem solvers.
- They should thrive in a team environment and enjoy a variety of duties.
- Experience in retail, customer service, food and beverage, administrative, healthcare, or similar industries is required.
- Candidates must have customer-facing experience and enjoy delighting customers.
- Ability to be on their feet and handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 pounds (depending on site requirements) with or without accommodations.
- A minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalent and being 18 years of age or older are necessary.
