Job Description
This role involves working in a warehouse environment where you'll be responsible for various tasks, including inventory management, pick, pack, and sort orders, and delighting customers. You'll also have the chance to engage in professional interactions with team members and customers while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate receipt and stocking of inventory, safeguarding against loss or theft.
- Pick, Pack, and Sort Orders: Utilize technology to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers.
- Delight Customers: Communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers through the app when substitution approvals are needed.
- Warehouse Organization and Safety: Perform all duties in compliance with DoorDash safety and security standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Candidates must possess strong communication skills, be willing to learn, and be problem solvers.
- They should thrive in a team environment and enjoy a variety of duties.
- Experience in retail, customer service, food and beverage, administrative, healthcare, or similar industries is required.
- Candidates must have customer-facing experience and enjoy delighting customers.
- Ability to be on their feet and handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 pounds (depending on site requirements) with or without accommodations.
- A minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalent and being 18 years of age or older are necessary.
