About the Role
In this role you will help Service and Assemble the next generation of robotic systems within DoorDash Labs. We have a new Service Engineering org that we are building from the ground up! You will work with an excellent engineering team to solve novel problems that will drastically change last mile logistics. We’re a team of people who live and breathe building robots and complex electromechanical systems. We’re unfazed by challenges or new problems and strive to build world class solutions.

- Be part of an exciting effort to Service and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot
- Work with our Hardware and Service Engineering teams to help launch and develop new service strategies and workflows
- Assemble, repair and troubleshoot cutting edge mobile robotic systems
- Input into how these systems are designed and used
- Perform both routine maintenance and new assembly of delivery robot systems
- Work with an excellent engineering team to solve problems no one has before
- Ship tangible product concepts that make a meaningful impact to a billion-dollar business
We're excited about you because you have…
- Experience servicing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical robotics and/or Automotive systems
- Experience fabricating, assembling and troubleshooting electric vehicle or industrial robotics wiring and electrical systems - soldering, crimping, cable management
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Excellent ability to follow instructions, drawings and process
- Basic fabrication skills for metal and plastic such as drilling, grinding, cutting
- Good shop organization skills
