About the Team
DoorDash is seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our Supply Strategy & Execution team. Our goal is to create and execute the right supply strategy to improve Supply everywhere, bring incremental Supply-driven volume (GMV), while reducing spend. We are also responsible for ensuring Dashers stay busier and earn more. This central team is responsible for balancing the marketplace, building personalized mobilization levers for our Dashers.
About the Role
As the manager for the Supply Strategy & Execution team, you will manage a team of Machine Learning, backend and full stack engineers. You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of the team charter. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to create the right personalized levers to incentivize & mobilize Dashers at the right time and in the right place to cater to the given demand distribution.

We’re excited about you because…
- BS, M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or related field
- You have 2 years of engineering leadership experience as an EM managing ML, backend & web engineers
- You have 7 years of industry experience
- You’re an owner - driven, focused, and quick to take ownership of your work
- You are impact driven - you sign up for and drive high-business impact
- A strong hands-on technical leader and strong product sense
- Humble - you’re willing to get into the details and you’re open to feedback
- You have experience navigating ambiguous business problems and tackling high-scale technical challenges.
