About the Role
We believe in the value of advanced technologies and strive to build meaningful applications of next-generation hardware and software to impact real-world needs. As such, we are looking for a Procurement Manager who has strong relevant experience to source components and services in this field while having the analytical mindset, creativity, and flexibility to build and scale procurement processes and systems that evolve with the unique needs of DoorDash Labs. This is a highly visible role where the Procurement Manager is expected to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to execute on all fronts and ultimately build a team and streamline procurement processes for the entire organization.
The Procurement Manager will report to the Director of Hardware and Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing on our Sourcing team in our Autonomy organization.

- Source a wide breadth of commodities from fasteners to highly complex components and engineering and manufacturing services
- Build and scale procurement processes from scratch to serve the needs of others
- Dive deep into issues, breakdown problems, and drive the team towards results
- Create spreadsheet models to track supply and spend for effective supply chain management and budgeting and forecasts.
- Work hands-on and support a world-class team of engineers and business leaders
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 5 years of procurement experience in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and or AI projects.
- You have built procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and have implemented or managed systems for your organization.
- You have 2 years leading and managing teams and have mentored and promoted people
- You have strong communication and presentations skills to lead and organize efforts
- You have sharp attention to detail and believe no task is too big or too small
