The Audience Experience Solutions team is a crucial part of DoorDash’s Merchant Product organization, which builds upon the company vision of connecting local delivery networks in cities all across the world. About the Role
In this role, you will define, develop, integrate and scale a rapidly growing salesforce instance, partnering alongside Program Managers, Product Owners, IT development teams, and other Business Stakeholders across the company. At DoorDash, Salesforce is at the heart of what we do, and as such, this team creates and implements impactful processes and frameworks that ultimately guide and support the overall business strategies for our sales and services teams. As a Salesforce Developer, you will report directly to an Engineering Manager within our merchant product organization.

- Own and manage the end-to-end solutions while developing a strong understanding of implementations of any related integrations with Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with Services, Customer Success, Product and IT team members, and Sr. stakeholders operating as a project owner
- Work closely with other Salesforce developers, administrators, solution architects, and engineering managers on your direct team in order to understand and refine requirements, objectives, and processes to drive strategic solutions
- Evaluate, select, implement, and integrate technology tools into a solution to support key business unit stakeholders
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, and perform peer code reviews
- Design, build, and test scalable enhancements such as custom objects, alerts, page layouts, and more within Salesforce
We’re excited about you because you have…
- 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer working in a scalable environment
- 2 year of experience with Lightning development, ideally as part of a Lightning migration
- Experience with Salesforce Service cloud
- Skilled in development of custom applications
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Apex Enterprise patterns
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Salesforce data models, security, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with AgentForce, Einstein, Data cloud, CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment
- Experience performing unit testing of LWC and APEX code
- Experience in building integrations with Rest API, Platform Events, and Streaming APIs
- Thorough understanding of Salesforce system limits to build at scale
- Contribute to team processes by participating in (and leading) team activities, such as code review, estimation, technical planning, and requirements definition
- Interest in working across departments to manage shifting priorities and requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence a large organization and grow within a team
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables at once while keeping tight and ever-changing deadlines
- A problem-solver attitude thriving in ambiguity and fast paced environments.
