About the Role
As a Shift Lead at DoorDash USA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of Operations Associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring that customer orders are delivered with high quality and accuracy.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading a team of Operations Associates in a warehouse environment, ensuring they work safely and productively.
- Taking ownership of assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, cleanliness, quality, and training.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality orders accurately and communicating effectively with customers.
- Guiding Operations Associates through their shift, serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Maintaining accountability for inventory, equipment, and other company assets to ensure they are properly handled, stored, and protected from loss or theft.
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks and leading by example.
- Contributing ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- A self-motivated and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, preferably in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a college diploma preferred.
