About The Team

Our sales and partner management teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top merchants (think restaurants, grocers, convenience stores, retailers) across the country to grow their revenue and help them operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it. The International Sales S&O team focuses on the acquisition, retention and growth of SMB restaurants across Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

About The Role

As a Sales Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll be responsible for driving the productivity of our Canada SMB Sales teams focused on restaurant acquisition. You will report to the Associate Manager of Canada Pre-Sale S&O. In this role, you will pull reports and draw data insights in our Salesforce ecosystem, as well as work cross-functionally to drive our quarterly lead list process and work directly with Sales managers to accelerate productivity.

You will be responsible for projects across the Canada SMB Pre-Sales business and a key contributor to making DoorDash #1 in Canada. You will sit at the center of our revenue generation engine - this will require prioritization and data-driven insights to ensure our teams are working against the right goals and have the tools needed to achieve them.

  • Strategize – Work with Sales to build effective and cost-efficient go-to-market strategies

  • Analyze - Build models to evaluate success and find opportunities for improvement
  • Influence – Work with our Merchant S&O, Sales, and other Sales S&O teams to scale business impact

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in management consulting / tech / investment banking / corporate strategy / business operations or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience strongly preferred
  • You have an established track record of achieving tangible outcomes and moving needles
  • You are a strong analytical thinker who can provide applicable recommendations out of complex datasets
  • You have excellent Excel skills (can perform complex functions and manipulate large datasets); SQL knowledge is strongly preferred
  • You are entrepreneurial – You have a bias towards action, an ownership mentality and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • You are naturally curious – You always look for ways to innovate and improve and want to share the vision and direction of the company
  • You’re a problem solver – You can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans
  • You are a team player - you have experience working with cross-functional teams and thrive off of working with others

Nice to Haves

  • You have experience working with Salesforce and other CRMs
  • You have experience working with Sales teams
  • You have experience working with BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Sigma, Lookr)

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
