Summary
We are seeking a Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist the driver in delivering doors and hardware to construction sites (can involve carrying material up/down multiple flights of stairs).
Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading doors and hardware from the vehicle into the assigned units per the paperwork. This involves carrying doors up and down multiple flights of stairs.
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow safety protocols while handling heavy materials and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by checking delivered items against orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery helper or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.
- Driver's License preferred.
- Must be able to read and speak english.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and follow safety guidelines.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
