Doorstep Music Lessons, Nevada's largest in-home music school, is seeking passionate and nurturing private music teachers to join our team. As a private music teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your love for music with students of all ages and skill levels, providing personalized lessons in the comfort of students' homes. Our teachers are some of the top educators, performers and musicians in the Las Vegas area.
We're a music school created by music teachers. We create an environment where teachers can just focus on teaching. We worry about marketing, enrollment, initial scheduling, reviews, customer service, payments, and more. All you have to do is teach and be awesome!

Responsibilities:
- Be fun and engaging with students and families
- Provide one-on-one music lessons to students in their homes
- Create individualized lesson plans based on student's goals, interests, and skill level
- Instruct students on proper playing techniques, music theory, and performance skills
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical growth
- Maintain regular communication with students and their families to track progress and address any concerns
- Be active on social media and encourage students to participate in challenges, recitals and other development programs
- Professional and timely communication with students, families, and staff
Requirements:
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments (based on student demand)
- Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes for lessons
- Strong passion for music and a desire to inspire others
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students of varying ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Teaching experience is a plus
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Experience teaching in students' homes is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or higher in music preferred, but not required - equivalent performance experience will be considered
- Students completing their bachelor's degree or higher in music are also encouraged to apply
