What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 2nd shift position at Doosan Bobcat NA US?
Job Information
A Material Handler will transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jacket or using a lifting device attached to a hoist.
Schedule: 2nd Shift: 4:30PM - 3:00AM, Monday-Thursday with Overtime/OT scheduled on Fridays based on business production need
Role & Responsibility
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed
- Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts
- Follows set route through department to load kit carts
- Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line
- Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment
- Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations
- Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed
Job Requirement
- Education Required: High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Experience Required: 0<2 years
- The ability to operate a forklift is required. Forklift on the job training is provided by the Company
- Travel Required: Less than 10%
- The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms
- Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly
- Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time
