Bobcat Company is a leader in the global compact equipment industry. The Senior Project Manager position plays a key role in developing new products that will lead Bobcat into the future and help maintain and strengthen a leadership position in a global market.

Senior Project Managers are tasked with managing projects as part of the overall project portfolio. This position is expected to lead project teams and work directly with functional leads to execute projects at a high level while aligning with the Bobcat NPD process.

Demonstrates strong project management skills and leadership abilities. Plays an active role in shaping the overall direction of the Program Management group by developing processes and best practices while also guiding product portfolios.

Role & Responsibility

Senior Project Managers may lead multiple projects, including complex global projects. These individuals will be required to utilize project management principles consistent with industry best practices and Bobcat processes. Executes project work with a strong focus on project scope definition, resource management, schedule development, and risk management.

Senior Project Managers are expected to develop processes and best practices within the Program Management department.

This position is responsible for reporting at the project level, communicating clearly and concisely to a broad audience within the organization.

Expect 10-20% travel depending on individual project requirements, including international and domestic travel.

Job Requirement

• 5 years of project-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite including MS Project or a comparable project scheduling tool
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate project teams and hold teams accountable
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently without sacrificing quality or delivery of work
• Understanding of financial principles and how they apply to a development project
• Ability to manage a comprehensive project plan considering Critical Path methodology while understanding cause and effect throughout the schedule
• Ability to manage direct reports
