Job Information
The Tool Engineer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing specialized production machines, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
Role & Responsibility
Process Analysis
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : Cost optimization, increased quality, Delivery, and Safety Index Rate.
- Guide Tooling shop personnel, electricians, and maintenance personnel (including electronic technicians) during building, assembling and / or modifying of a machine, major jig or fixture, or die tooling.
- Supervise and guide subordinates on designing, detailing, and layouts of special mechanisms, jigs, or fixtures and guide them in using Computer Aided Design.
- Design, purchase, build, and modify new and used machines.
- Track your requisitions and purchase orders.
