POSITION PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Procurement Supervisor is to oversee and manage the ordering of all Engineering parts and supplies, to maintain adequate inventory levels and focus on meeting the companys low cost / best value expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the Maintenance Manage System to include the automatic re-ordering of parts and supplies, new purchase request, reports, and storeroom organization and management. Manage the purchase of spare parts and supplies at a low cost/best value. Manage & oversee part ordering for all upcoming projects.
- Oversee the setup of all first time purchased parts in EAM. This will include giving each part a number, location, vendor, description, minimum/maximum/re-order point & quantity. Manage inventory audits and update all required fields in EAM as needed.
- Maintain necessary files for purchases, MSDS, mold plates, service contracts, waste oil, RFAS, and parts sent out for repairs and warranties.
- Issue parts to engineers, and ensure that all items are accounted for.
- Communicate inventory status and requirements with Team Leaders and Assistant Eng. Managers on a daily basis.
- Manage & oversee part ordering for all upcoming projects.
- Perform weekly inventory spot checks to ensure that all inventoried items are accounted for.
- Manage team members schedule and time off request.

Education and/or experience
Bachelors Degree in Meat Science or Business preferred with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
