Doraku Sushi is looking for a Front of the House Manager who will work closely with the General Manager and Staff and ensure the highest level of service and operation standards. An energetic individual, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a passion for food & beverage, customer service. If so, you would be a perfect fit to join our team. Must have minimum of 2 years of Restaurant Management.
The Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
- Assists the General Manager with established goals and priorities, which align with Doraku’s Mission Statement and goals.
- Must always maintain professionalism.
- Communicates in a clear, concise, and accurate manner to maintain effective restaurant operations.
- Assist in training and educating employees; provides employees with opportunities for gaining experience and skill. In support of this process, ensures good initial training; maintains cross-training programs; motivates, assists, and supports employees to achieve their fullest potential.
- Conducts first interviews and recommends hires to General Manager.
- Perform all duties necessary to open and close the restaurant.
- Proactively communicates with General Manager and conveys information regarding the restaurant of any problems or issues.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 55 hours per week.
- Must have open availability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have open availability.
- Must have flexible scheduling availability.
- Must agree to comply with the scheduling requirements.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 55 hours per week; or more depending on business needs.
- Able to lift 10 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Standing and/or walking up to 11 hours; reaching, bending, squatting, and pushing/pulling frequently. Time management skills with strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Food service or restaurant managerial experience is a MUST
- Ability to handle operational, staff, and customer problems on a timely basis; sees problems as opportunities for growth; is persistent in resolving an issue.
- Ability to get team members to work cooperatively and collaboratively.
- Flexible and adaptable

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
