Job Summary
Doral Academy of Idaho is looking for a Dean of Instruction for the 2025-2026 school year. The Dean of Instruction is a leadership position that partners to plan, develop, align, revise, implement, and evaluate all curricular programs in a cycle of continuous improvement that supports the District’s mission, vision, and beliefs to serve the immediate and long-range needs of the students and staff. The Dean works closely with the Building Administrator to ensure all staff are meeting their academic goals and that they have the necessary training and tools to deliver the curriculum.
Duties
- Provide leadership in curriculum development and implementation to ensure academic excellence.
- Supervise faculty and staff, promoting professional development and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Engage in strategic planning to align grade-level objectives with school goals.
- Oversee academic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state standards.
- Facilitate communication between administration, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to enhance student engagement and success within the academic community.
- Oversee the RTI Program
- Oversee Professional Development Trainings
- Assist in supervising grade-levels and assisting with behavioral concerns
Qualifications
- 10 plus years experience in teaching
- Experience with Gifted and Talented Programs and Special Education Inclusion
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively.
- Experience leading data-dives and RTI teams
- Knowledge of strategic planning processes
- Familiarity with curriculum development practices and educational standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- A track record of successful teaching with data to support.
- Advanced degree in education or a related field is preferred.
