We are looking for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a per diem or part-time basis (1-2 days a week). This position requires Spanish proficiency to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.
Location: 6506 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale, New York
Compensation: $85-90 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Perform comprehensive physical exams
- Develop and implement patient management policies
- Refer patients to other healthcare professionals or facilities when needed
- Collaborate with physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN)
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with prescriptive authority
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism with both patients and colleagues
- Spanish fluency required
