We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager for this newly created position to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, SEO optimization and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, excellent communication skills, SEO optimization and a passion for content creation.
Duties
- Develop and implement social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand voice.
- Lead the effort in SEO optimization.
- Create, manage and direct marketing campaigns
- Utilize digital tools for scheduling posts and monitoring social media performance.
- Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
- Produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Illustrator.
- Edit videos for social media campaigns to enhance engagement.
- Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports on performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices in social media advertising.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong skills in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.
- Familiarity with advertising strategies on social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling and analytics.
- Excellent research abilities to identify trends and audience insights.
- Strong relationship management skills to effectively engage with partners and influencers.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar graphic design software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A passion for staying current with the latest developments in social media marketing.
