As our Resident Services Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to support residents in DBEDC properties. You'll work closely with individuals and families, connecting them to essential services, fostering community engagement, and helping them maintain stable tenancies. This role will take you to different properties within our service area, where you'll collaborate with property management and local partners to create opportunities that enhance residents’ quality of life.
What you can expect to do in the role
- Be a trusted resource : Welcome new residents, build relationships, and connect them with services that support their needs and goals.
- Support housing stability : Help residents access public benefits, navigate challenges, and prevent evictions.
- Create community connections : Organize resident meetings, lead social programs, and facilitate community-building activities.
- Work directly with residents : Provide case management support, maintain appropriate records, and ensure services are accessible and effective.
- Advocate for residents : Mediate conflicts, promote civic engagement, and collaborate with community organizations to expand resources.
- Adapt and assist as needed : Support residents in any way necessary to help them maintain stable, fulfilling lives, including other duties as assigned.

Founded in 1979, we work to build a strong, thriving, and diverse community in Boston’s North Dorchester and Roxbury neighborhoods. We develop, preserve, and sustain affordable rental and ownership housing. We lend capital to and coach small businesses and prepare job seekers for well-paying, sustainable employment. We stabilize tenancies and foster community leadership. We’re focused on equitable development without displacement and providing opportunities for economic mobility.
We are one of Boston’s legacy agencies and most established community development organizations, with an annual operating budget of approximately $11 million and a staff of 32.
Salary : $66,300 - $76,500
