Job Details:
We are hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time custodial floor tech employees. Pay varies with experience between $15.30/hr ($24,097.50/yr) up to $23.16/hr ($36,477/yr). 225-day contract. We offer State Benefits for all Full-TimePositions including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities
- Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
- Perform floor maintenance to include scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning and operation of all equipment.
- Daily scrubbing/cleaning of all common areas. Burnish hallway floors twice weekly. This includes dust mopping and use of appropriate mops, buckets, and solutions for hard to reach areas.
- Periodically strip and wax all hard tiled floors using appropriate equipment such as Autoscrubber and Burnishers, side-by-side machines, floor pick-up machines (wet vac), and appropriate mops and buckets, etc.
- Knowledge of general use and maintenance of all floor machines, to include general assembly of basic parts such as appropriate scrubbing, buffing, stripping pads, maintenance of batteries, and/or electrical cords, cleaning and/or changing of filters and lines, and ability to read and understand appropriate manuals for Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and/or perform troubleshooting procedures, if necessary, of all equipment.
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Organize custodial closets and spaces
- Moves furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by the manager.
- Assist with any other custodial needs at school location, to include trash, classroom cleaning, and bathroom cleaning as directed by manager.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the manager.
