Dordick Law Corporation, a mid-sized personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced lien negotiator to help negotiate and reduce medical liens from personal injury medical providers, private health insurance carriers, Medi-Care/Medicaid/VA, and other governmental entities. n. Our preference is for someone willing and able to work at our downtown Los Angeles or Beverly Hills offices, but we may consider remote/hybrid under the right circumstances.

Responsibilities
$30 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities
- Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills.
- Negotiate Medpay reimbursement claims/waivers as well as sub-out attorney liens
- Draft Lien Reduction acceptance letters
- Identify liens from emergency medical treatment.
- Preform other office tasks as assigned by management
- Possess a working knowledge of personal injury lien negotiation;
- Experience working with medical bills and records
- Strong working knowledge of various governmental healthcare provider policies and procedures for lien negotiation and resolution i.e. Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicaid, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of industry practices and procedures in lien negotiation and resolution with health insurance providers, private healthcare providers, and hospital/ER/EMS providers, generally;
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Personal Injury law firm preferred;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and other applications and/or systems (i.e., Highly organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a sense of urgency;
- The right candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
