Job Description
An aggressive, Plaintiff Personal Injury Firm seeks a Litigation Managing Attorney to conduct motor vehicle, premises, and Medical Malpractice litigation and trials. Candidates for the position must possess strong management skills, research and writing skills, and substantial personal injury litigation experience including law and motion, arbitration, mediation, expert deposition, and trial.
Applicants for the Attorney position must have a MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION to handle all discovery, trial preparation, mediation, and trial. Candidates must be able to manage a caseload of 60-80 litigation files throughout all stages of litigation and trial preparation. Trial experience is a MUST . You will oversee an associate and an experienced paralegal.
Duties include :
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Law and motion
- Taking and defending depositions
- Performing legal research
- Performing all other litigation case management duties
The qualified candidate must be highly organized, possess attention to detail, write well and advocate aggressively, and have a sincere interest in litigation. Spanish language fluency is a plus.
