Car Wash Gas Station Clerk

Position will work 50% of the time in the car wash and 50% in the convenience store.

Starting pay $14 per hour moving up to $15 per hour after one year with paid vacation and sick time, bonuses and monthly incentive programs!!

Summary/Objective

The car wash attendant is responsible for great customer service, spraying cars before entering, operating automatic car wash, accepting payments, and making change for customers in the car wash. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. This position will include working in our car wash and in our convenience store depending on business needs.

Essential Functions

· Verify consumers age for all lottery, alcohol, and tobacco purchases when working in the store

· Answer customer questions

· Accept payment and make change

· Counting inventory

· Suggestive Selling

· Processing lotto and lottery sales

· Stock shelves, counters, and displays with merchandise

· Mark or tag prices on merchandise

· Count and record cash and inventory records for each shift

· Greet customers in car wash

· Spray cars before they enter the wash

· Assisting in cleaning and small maintenance of car wash

· Perform any other daily duties as assigned

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and or move items that weigh more than 30 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a Part-time position. Days, evening, and weekends, shifts will be required. Days and hours of work may vary by schedule.
