Established small, but busy, Suffolk County litigation law firm seeking a litigation paralegal with approximately ten years’ experience.
Responsibilities:
Must have experience in commercial and personal injury/medical malpractice litigation. Must have experience in preparing legal documents, including, but not limited to, complaints, bills of particulars, discovery demands, and routine motions, as well as electronic filing in state and federal courts.
Must be able to assist in all aspects of the practice from initial intake to trial. Responsibilities include managing the calendar, as well as communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Individual must be able to work independently and with great attention to detail. Strong writing skills are a must.
Pay is dependent upon experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
