Customer Service Representative / Vendor Specialist
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative / Vendor Specialist position in Wright City, MO, involves managing customer orders, ensuring timely shipments and working with customer portals. Essential Job Functions
- Manage daily orders and confirm all orders are delivered to the warehouse.
- During the order entry process recognize EDI errors and offer solutions to errors.
- Review open order reports to ensure timely shipments.
- Review and understand vendor agreements and customer routing guides.
- Responsible for manually invoicing all orders that require manual intervention.
- Work in customer portals.
- Manually process sample requests from various areas of the company.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, shipments and invoicing in a timely and courteous manner.
Other Responsibilities
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
5 years of Customer Service Experience dealing with a multi-building distribution environment.
Strong internal customer focus and attention to detail.
