The Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in achieving organizational goals.
This role is located in Bentonville, AR with a hybrid work schedule requiring 4 days a week in the office.
Your mission
As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in achieving organizational goals. You will be responsible for coordinating sales activities, ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and external clients, and maintaining accurate sales records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales support and a passion for driving business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day operations, including order processing, contract management, MAP issues and customer inquiries.
- Coordination: Coordinate with various departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate sales records, track sales performance metrics, and prepare reports for senior management. This will also include maintaining key documents used by the cross-functional team including Modular Forms, Promo Planners, etc.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to support sales strategies. This includes completing regular competitive landscapes for both stores and dotcom.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Support Strategy Development: Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- New Item Creation: Manage the new item creation process for both domestic and direct import (DI) items for Dorel and our licensee partners.
- Project Management: Act as project manager for our licensee partners and their assortments.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred but not required.
- 2 years’ experience in a retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) along with a willingness to learn supporting applications such as Monday.com, Salsify, etc.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
- Proficiency in Walmart systems including Retail Link and Luminate.
