What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Doren, Inc.?
Doren Inc., a sister company to the R.I. Lampus Company – the western PA leader in Concrete Block, Hardscape Manufacturing and Brick Distribution, is in need of a full-time (plus some overtime) Machine Operator in our Aliquippa, PA facility. This is a daylight position.
Responsibilities Include:
* Set up equipment for production runs
* Maintain equipment and repair as needed
* Be familiar with cube patterns and the operation of Paco/Columbia equipment
* Build cubes per company specifications
* Assist with all other plant functions
* Cooperate with others when in a team environment
* Accept direction from supervisors
* Follow work rules and procedures
* Safety is a priority
* Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to pass a drug test
* Positive attitude
* Detail oriented
Education and Experience:
* Previous experience with CMU production preferred but not required
* Required education: High school Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to 40 hours a week and overtime as needed
