JOB TITLE: NA Inventory Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
SUMMARY: The North American Inventory Manager will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels at all locations and keeping within low variance of ERP system at all times. This includes all raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and packaging materials. They will work with Demand Planners, finance, and operations to maintain accuracy of the inventory levels at all sites, trouble-shooting any variances and reporting variance, and root cause back to management team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Force continuous improvements in the area of inventory accuracy within the Region
- Monitor inventory levels weekly, quarterly, and annually
- Initiate corrective actions in agreement with company goals
- Monitor stock and service level for assigned product groups in in all regions
- Coordinate cycle counts, resolve issues in advance of monthly S&OP meeting, communicate to Management team
- Help to facilitate S&OP meeting and record decisions
- Follow-up decisions made in S&OP meeting and ensure correct actions are met
- Ensure an on-going optimization of inventory levels in balance with required service levels
- Manage inventory accuracy on weekly basis
- Monitor inventory development and create alerts against targets if anomalies are observed
- Elaborate inventory issues mitigation proposals based on alerts and communicate to management team
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to by DK, such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting the goals and objectives of the company.
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
- Other projects as required.
- Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, preferred
- Experience/Skills:
- 5-10 years experience, chemical field experience, analyzing and/or managing inventories preferred
- Experience within an organization that is operations/manufacturing based
- Strong computer skills and inter personal skills
- Experience with ERP systems a plus Oracle, SAP, Datacor
